Welcome to the Altona Civic Obedience Dog Club (ACODC) website. ACODC has been operating for more than 40 years in the Altona area. We provide all levels of obedience training from basic beginners up to trial standards.

Whether you have just brought home a new puppy or need to teach an old dog some new tricks we can help.

ACODC also offer dog Agility training (for more information on our Agility program please visit our Agility page), we also now run Flyball classes (see Training Times below) and have a Flyball competition team (please refer to our Flyball page for more information).

Training Times


Beginners Class:  9.00am - 9.45am (alternate week to Inductions only)
Classes 1 - 3:  9.00am - 9.45am
Classes 4 - 6:  10.00am - 10.45am

Ring practice - Class 6 & 7 on demand as required

Agility: 9.00am - 11.00am
Setup:  8.30am
Pull-down:  11.00am
All those people participating in Agility training are required to assist with setup and pull down.

Flyball: 9:00am - 11:00am
Flyball activities run each week when not at shows competing

Directions: via Civic Parade, turn down Fresno Street and then turn left just after the Tennis Courts.
